Tulsa Transits Wants to Trim Long Bus Waits

The wait between buses in Tulsa is roughly one-hour.

Tulsa Transit General Manager Bill Cartwright wants that changed. But, he admits that isn’t going to be easy.  He says it will take money. He calls improving Tulsa's mass transit program vital to Tulsa's growth.                  

The new city budget contains additional funding. But with cut backs on the state and federal level, for the most part, it will allow Tulsa Transit to maintain current service levels.
