EUFAULA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Norman man was killed when the golf cart he was driving collided with a pickup truck near Lake Eufaula.
Troopers say 33-year-old Lawerence Dillard died at a Eufaula hospital following the crash shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday.
Investigators say Dillard was northbound when he failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled into the path of the pickup truck that was westbound on Oklahoma Highway 9. The truck crashed into the passenger side of the golf cart and Dillard was thrown nearly 20 feet from the golf cart.
