SKIATOOK, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 32-year-old man died while swimming in Skiatook  Lake in northeastern Oklahoma.

The highway patrol says Jeffrey Allen Clegg of Skiatook dove from a cliff into the lake Sunday afternoon and never resurfaced. The highway patrol says crews used sonar to locate Clegg's body, which was recovered at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The highway patrol says Clegg's body was found in about 12 feet of water.

The incident occurred in the Osage Park area, southeast of the Oklahoma 20 bridge.
