Suspect in Oklahoma Killing Waives Extradition

Lewisville, Texas Police

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A Sand Springs man charged with fatally shooting his mother and kidnapping his son has waived extradition from the Texas town he fled to early this week.

Robert Connor the Third was charged Wednesday with first-degree murder and kidnapping following the shooting death of Deborah Ann Armstrong Connor on Tuesday. He was arrested at a hotel in Lewisville, Texas, early the next morning.

Chief Deputy Charlie Cartwright said Friday Connor waived extradition and will be brought back to Osage County next week.

Witnesses told Osage County sheriff's deputies that Robert and Deborah Connor argued about gas money outside of the fifth-wheel trailer Deborah Connor lived in with her 6- and 10-year-old grandsons, who are Robert Connor's children.
