TULSA, Okla. (AP) — An ex-janitor at a Tulsa church has entered a guilty plea to making a lewd proposal of a child.

Israel Castillo entered the plea on Friday in Tulsa. His sentencing is set for October 18th.

Castillo had originally pleaded not guilty and was scheduled to start a jury trial on Tuesday. Castillo had been free pending trial and the judge ordered him into immediate custody.

Castillo worked at the 17,000-member Victory Christian Center in south Tulsa. He is accused of sending lewd Facebook messages to a 14-year-old girl.

Another ex-janitor at the church, Chris Denman, was sentenced to 55 years in prison last year for various sex charges, including the rape of a 13-year-old girl on ministry grounds.
