2013-14 Goals Set at TU

KWGS News

There will be more building on the University of Tulsa campus. University President Steadman Upham outlined plans for remodeled facilities and at least one new housing unit during an address today to the university’s faculty and staff.

A new 300-bed residential facility will be built on campus where the Holmes Center currently is located. Upham also announced a multi-million dollar renovation of Kipling Hall. Both projects will begin later this school year.

During the hour long speech, he also heaped praise on the TU. students.

STEADMAN UPHAM: “Our entire student body has an average ACT of 27.7. 74% were in the top 10% of their high school graduating class with an average 3.8 GPA.”

This year’s freshman class is the largest ever in T-U history with 862-new students this fall. KWGS is owned by the University of Tulsa.
