While 2013 will end unseasonable warm, 2014 will begin with a chill. Much colder conditions are expected across northeast Oklahoma for the start of the New Year. The National Weather Service Office in Tulsa say we will reach a high of 48 on New Year's Day, but then it will turn sharply colder. By Thursday morning, we should be at 19-degrees.
There will also be a chance of snow across the region. The heaviest snow fall amounts will be north of Interstate-44. Even then, by most standards, snowfall accumulation will be considered light. In most cases it will be less than two-inches.
