TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Tulsa mayor's office is proposing a $7 million cut to the general fund budget to account for a revenue shortfall.
City finance director Mike Kier told city council members Thursday that more cuts may be necessary.
The $7 million represents 2.6 percent of the city's $265 million general fund.
The cuts are to be made without having to lay off any employees.
Most of the cut will be made by not filling open positions and other cost-cutting measures.
