Water crews are currently working to repair a 16 inch waterline break at 2300 S. Maybelle. Earlier this week, crews repaired a 6 inch line at the same area, which connected to the 16 inch line.
Water crews are near 21st and Riverside to valve down the waterline break at Maybelle. Valves on larger water lines are further away from the initial water line break.
After the line is valved down, crews will pump the standing water and begin to replace the pipe joint. Repairs are expected to be complete by the end of the day.
A shopping mall on 23rd and Jackson and part of the apartment complex on 23rd St. is currently without water.
Crews have repaired 15 water lines yesterday and will continued to work through the night.
