TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Mayor Dewey Bartlett, Jr. is scheduled to present Tulsa's proposed 2015 budget to city councilors.

Bartlett will go over his budget during Thursday's council meeting.

The city has had to deal with an estimated budget shortfall between $6.4 million and $10 million in the past year, and Bartlett has indicated in previous statements that tough decisions would have to be made before the fiscal year ends June 30.

It's unknown if the 2015 budget would come with proposed reductions to make budget ends meet in the coming year.

Earlier this year, Bartlett asked department heads to come back to him with more efficient ways of doing business.
