One man is dead after a day break shoot-out with Tulsa Police. The incident happened during a police stand-off near 11th and South Rockford. That is about half-way between Peoria and Utica on 11th Street.
The man traded shot with police just before 6 a.m. It is believed he was struck by police fire. No one else was injured. The ordeal started around 1 a.m.
This is the second fatal shooting in the area near Hillcrest Medical Center in the past week. Last Friday, a hospital security guard fatally shot an armed burglary suspect.
