The Broken Arrow Ledger is hosting a voter forum this Wednesday, October 28 at 6:00 pm to discuss the upcoming Vision 2025 Renewal election.  The forum will be held at the Glass Veranda in the Forest Ridge neighborhood, 7501 E. Kenosha.

At the forum, voters will learn about the two propositions that will be on the November 10 ballot in Broken Arrow. Proposition #1 establishes a sales tax of three tenths of one penny ($0.003) to hire additional police officers and firefighters; as well as fund the acquisition and replacement of public safety vehicles, equipment, technology and apparatus.

Proposition #2 establishes a sales tax of twenty-five hundredths of one penny ($0.0025) for the purposes of improving, constructing, and maintaining city streets, sidewalks, and related stormwater appurtenances, including the installation of traffic control devices and signalization.
