New ordinances outlining trash rates will go into effect for city of Tulsa customers on November first. Residents will see the new rates reflected on their December 2015 bill. 

It is estimated that 90 percent of Tulsa households with standard trash service and will see a slight decrease on their bill. Households with premium trash services will see a slight adjustment upward for the additional trash services received.

Residential trash service has been simplified into menu choices. The Standard Rate applies to all, and each customer can choose one or more individually priced Premium Services to add to their monthly cost, if desired: Backyard collection, extended backyard collection, twice-a-week collection and additional carts.

Once a Week Service drops by a dime:

Curbside – 96 Gallon – $15.42

Curbside – 64 Gallon – $13.92 

Curbside – 32 Gallon – $12.42

 

Premium Services:

Backyard Collection: Add $6.50/month to Standard Services

Extended Backyard: Add $13/month to Standard Services

Twice-A-Week Collection: Add $10/month to Standard Services

Additional 96-Gallon Cart: Add $6/month to Standard Services
