Police in McLoud say a man's body has been found in a retention pond connected to Wes Watkins Reservoir.
Police Chief Tom Pringle told reporters the body was found by a camper on the northwest side of the reservoir Friday.
Pringle said it appears the man drowned, but the body is being sent to the state medical examiner's office to determine the exact cause of death.
Police say the man has not been identified, but Pringle said he appears to have been in his 30s and investigators have an idea who he is.
