BA Works Out Deal for Hazardous Waste At MET

Google Street View

Broken Arrow residents will now be able to dispose of their hazardous household waste any time of the year at the City of Tulsa’s Household Pollutant Collection Facility.

In past years, the Metropolitan Environmental Trust has conducted semi-annual collection events at the Tulsa Fairgrounds. Those events will no longer be held, now that the City of Tulsa has built a permanent facility to collect hazardous waste.

Broken Arrow residents will need to contact the MET at 918-584-0584 to schedule an appointment and receive a confirmation number. The appointment and confirmation number will allow residents to dispose of their waste at the Tulsa facility free of charge.

The permanent facility is at 4502 S. Galveston Avenue in west Tulsa and is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A full list of what can and cannot be recycled at the permanent facility can be found here.
