Career Point College Shuts Down Tulsa Campus

The Career Point College  in Tulsa becomes the latest private vocational school in Oklahoma to close. The Texas based, for profit school, made the announcement late yesterday.

The Oklahoma Board of Private Vocational Schools oversees such colleges in the state. Director Nora House says they are working to get displaced students enrolled in other programs. She says they are trying to workout a "Teach Agreement" with another such school. House says that would allow the Tulsa students to transfer in mass rather than individually.

Career Point campuses in Austin and San Antonio also suddenly closed.
