The line were long again Saturday for early voting in Tulsa County. The voting was permitted at two locations. The lines were equally long at the County Election Board and at the Hardesty Regional Library. In some cases the wait was nearly 3 hours.
According to the Tulsa County Election Board, 4,579 ballots were cast on Saturday in Tulsa. For the 3 day voting period there were 17,855 people who voted early.
The previous record was in 2008. This year that record was surpassed by 6,378.
Turnout is expected to be high again on Tuesday when the polls will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
