Another Jenks High School student has tested positive for Tuberculosis. This is the second confirmed case, this month, at the high school. The Jenks School District’s Rob Loeber says letters are being mailed to the parents of students who could be at risk.
He says TB is not a disease that can be transmitted on surfaces, so there is no reason to disinfect the entire school.He says the health department and the school district are working together for another round of tests for any students potentially exposed.
