The lawyers will be asking the questions today of potential jurors in the Betty Shelby Manslaughter Trial. This is the second day of jury selection in the high profile and racially charged case.
The White Tulsa Police officer is accused of killing an unarmed Black man, Terrance Crutcher, last September. Shelby was not in court for jury selection yesterday.
Security is extremely tight at the Tulsa County Court House and will be throughout the trial. Those wearing protest shirts, such as 'Black Lives Matter' were ordered to turn their shirts inside-out before entering the courtroom.
The Reverend Al Sharpton will be in Tulsa tomorrow for a rally and prayer service at the Jazz Hall of Fame on behalf of the Crutcher family. Signs have been posted along Tulsa expressways calling on the community to support Officer Shelby.
