Rev. Sharpton Holds Tulsa Rally

KWGS News

The Rev. Al Sharpton comes to Tulsa to hold , what is billed as, a Prayer Rally for Justice. He was invited at the request of the family of Terrance Crutcher. The unarmed Crutcher was shot and killed by a Tulsa Police Officer. Officer Betty Shelby's trial is underway in Tulsa District Court.

Sharpton says he did not come to Tulsa to cause problems, but to solve problems. He says the problem was already here. He says the on going trial is "not about Sharpton, but it is about Shelby."

Sharpton spoke for about 20 minutes to a diverse crowd at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.
