Bever Sentence Postponed to Next Month

KWGS News photo

Sentencing for Michael Bever is continued until next month. He is the Broken Arrow teenager convicted of taking part in the murder of five family members. He was also found guilty of the attempted murder of a sister, who survived the attack.

The jury, last May, recommended a life sentence but with the chance of eventual parole.  Judge Sharon Holmes said she would present her sentence in writing on August 9th.

Bever’s older brother, Robert, is already serving a life sentence, but without the chance of parole.

The murders took place in the summer of 2015 at the family’s Indian Springs Golf Course home in Broken Arrow.
