The Oklahoma Highway Patrol Bomb Squad is called to the Grand Lake resort area of Monkey Island. A device, resembling a pipe bomb, was found at a town home at ‘The Reserve’.
The homeowner was inspecting the property when he found the device about 6 p.m. on Saturday. Delaware County authorities say the owner had recently evicted a tenant from the property.
Nearby homes were evacuated as the Highway Patrol removed the device. It is not clear if it was an actual working explosive or a device designed to look like one.
