Cooler Weather and Thunderstorms Ahead for New Week

National Weather Service

Breezy south to southwest winds are expected to return to much
of the area Tuesday ahead of an approaching cold front. Low
thunderstorm chances will accompany the front, however storm
development is expected mostly behind the boundary that will
enter northeast Oklahoma during the afternoon on Tuesday. Isolated
thunderstorms will remain possible behind the front as it moves
through southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas Tuesday night.
Severe weather is unlikely given the lower degree of instability
in place behind the front.
