OU Wins... but Cowboys Come Up Short

KWGS News File photo

OU:

Kyler Murray recovered from a pair of early interceptions by throwing for 360 yards and three touchdowns and running for 100 yards and another score in No. 7 Oklahoma's 51-46 victory over Texas Tech. The Sooners stayed in the hunt for the playoff with their 19th straight win in a true road game. Freshman quarterback Alan Bowman didn't return in the second half for the Red Raiders because of a recurrence of the partially collapsed lung that sidelined him five weeks ago.

OSU:

Charlie Brewer threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Denzel Mims with seven seconds left to give Baylor a 35-31 win over Oklahoma State. Brewer didn't play the first three quarters after spending the week in concussion protocol since Baylor's last game. He led the Bears to consecutive touchdown drives after entering. Both Baylor and Oklahoma State are 5-4 overall.
