Tulsa Ambulances Change Color Scheme

EMSA

EMSA unveils new ambulance livery, color scheme, and logo

A new style of ambulance will hit the streets tonight in EMSA’s Eastern Division (Tulsa, Bixby, Jenks, and Sand Springs). Four trucks with a new blue and yellow color scheme and livery will be added to the EMSA fleet.

This new design saves EMSA approximately $2,000 compared to the design style of the current red, white, and blue EMSA ambulance design. The new look also has added safety features including a chevron design on the back of the ambulance cab. Additionally, we removed the front and rear light bars for more efficient and visible 900 series lights on our new units.

Eventually all of EMSA’s ambulance and vehicle fleet in both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City areas will be styled in the updated livery. We expect this will take several years as we replace older units in our fleet. For the foreseeable future, both styles of ambulance will be used to transport patients in our regulated service area.

EMSA has also updated its logo to feature a more realistic cardiac rhythm. The new logo adorns the four ambulances we are adding to our fleet.
