The first of three final public meetings on the proposed Improve Our Tulsa renewal is tomorrow night at 6.
Mayor G.T. Bynum said he and the council think they have the $639 million funding package nailed down.
"We want to take one last pass at town hall meetings to get feedback from our neighbors before we put it on the ballot," Bynum said.
Feedback from past meetings changed a few things, like increasing funding for bridge repairs and implementation of the Arena District Master Plan.
"We hope that folks will come out, take a look at the draft that we have. Tell us what we got right, tell us if they think we got something wrong," Bynum said. "It’s like having your teacher look at your test and tell you what the right answers are before you turn it in to get graded."
Thursday's meeting is at Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma, 4810 S 129th East Ave. The other meetings are July 29 at Memorial High School, 5840 S Hudson Ave.; and July 30 at Booker T. Washington High School, 1514 E Zion St.
All meetings start at 6 p.m. and will have Spanish translators available.
