KWGS happily welcomes Jody Hollins to the news team. Jody is a reporting intern enrolled in the 2025 Summer Impact Program created by George Kaiser Family Foundation.

Born in Oklahoma City, Jody is pursuing a degree in media studies and film at the University of Tulsa. Here, Jody gains experience with video editing and social media management as a content producer for CaneCareers, TU's career readiness center. He is also a two-time peer mentor, welcoming incoming students to campus each year.

When he's not video editing, Jody likes to spend his time gaming on his PC and scoring 250 pins at the local bowling alley. And as one of the biggest Oklahoma City Thunder fans, Jody spends much of his time practicing his 3-pointer at the gym and celebrating the Thunder's most recent NBA Championship win.

Advocating for young people to become more interested in local news, Jody enthusiastically works alongside KWGS reporters to publish on social media short videos which cover a variety of topics.
