All This Jazz -- not All That Jazz, mind you, but All This Jazz -- delivers modern jazz, both recent and classic, across a range of styles. The program offers Miles, Monk, Mingus, Moody, McLean, and Mulligan; we play all the late-great-heavyweights and are always glad to do so. (And not just those in the pantheon with "M" names, of course.) We also love to play -- in fact, we're delighted to present -- the music of emerging as well as established jazz artists, such as Ben Allison, Maria Schneider, Wayne Shorter, Dave Douglas, Stefon Harris, Herbie Hancock, Esperanza Spalding, Uri Caine, James Carter, Pat Metheny, Jason Moran, Wynton Marsalis, Fred Hersch, Tierney Sutton, Charlie Haden, Chris Potter, Bill Frisell, Joe Lovano, Matt Wilson, Christian McBride, Roy Hargrove, Gary Burton, John Scofield, Ravi Coltrane, Mulgrew Miller, Aaron Goldberg, Kurt Elling, Bill Charlap, Houston Person, Conrad Herwig, Chick Corea, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Enrico Rava, Vijay Iyer, Arturo O'Farrill, Mark Turner, Terri Lyne Carrington, Danilo Perez, Dave Holland, Donny McCaslin, Ingrid Jensen, John Patitucci, Phil Woods, Jack DeJohnette, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jeremy Pelt, The Bad Plus, et al. All This Jazz is all about great and adventurous improvised music from the present and past alike -- and about putting said music in your ears, where it fits so nicely, each and every week. Also, for those keeping score at home: the third hour of ATJ always has a theme.
