Fiat's First Year Back In The U.S. Marred By Missteps
In 2011, the Italian automaker introduced its first car for the U.S. market in 27 years, the Fiat 500. It opened new dealerships to sell only that model, but dealers had to manage without national advertising for months. And when an ad featuring Jennifer Lopez did finally come out, it was panned.

It's no surprise that Sesame Street is tackling a tough issue. It's been doing that from the start in 1969. Just in the last year, the show has featured a story line where a parent loses a job, and another on parent death.
Millionaire Surtax A 'Desperate' Act To Conservatives, 'Sensible' To Liberals
From the Democratic perspective, the beauty of such a surtax comes from how voters across the ideological spectrum have expressed approval for higher taxes on the wealthy to reduce federal deficits and for job creation. Not surprisingly, Democratic voters show the strongest support but there's significant support among Republicans, too.
Too Much GI Bill Money Going To For-Profit Schools?
The nation's for-profit colleges and universities received more than $1 billion in benefits from the Post-Sept. 11 GI Bill in the last year alone. But some say the for-profit schools aren't policed well enough — which creates an opening for abuses — and their dropout rates are too high.

The Senate has again rejected proposals to extend the payroll tax holiday through next year, with Republicans objecting to using a "millionaires surtax" to pay for it. NPR tried to find millionaires who also object — but with little success.
