Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's edition of ST, a discussion of the rapidly evolving socio-political situation in the Middle East, where (given recent events in Tunisia, Egypt, and elsewhere) history seems to be unfolding before our very eyes. Our guest is Steve Clemons, who directs the American Strategy Program at the New America Foundation in Washington, DC, and who also publishes the popular and influential political blog known as The Washington Note. Clemons was recently a guest of the Tulsa Committee on Foreign Relations, where he gave a talk entitled, "American Foreign Policy Needs Repair: Can the U.S. Re-Balance and Upgrade Its Military and Diplomatic Skills?"
