Tulsa, OK – Today on StudioTulsa, we hear from Gerhardt Zimmerman, who will soon serve as guest conductor for the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra when the TSO presents a concert called "Larger Than Life" at the Tulsa PAC on Saturday the 22nd at 7:30pm. On the program are three works of a decidedly mystical or philosophical (or even cosmic) nature: "Rainbow Body" (Theofanidis), "Violin Concerto" (Sibelius), and "Also Sprach Zarathustra" (Strauss). Zimmerman discusses these works in some detail with host Rich Fisher. (For more about this concert, including information about tickets, please visit http://tulsasymphony.org/coming-up-next.html.)
