What happens when a group of eccentric friends and family decide to make art for the sheer joy of it? You get FieldTrip Studio, a Tulsa-based collective known for their playful, unconventional, and captivating work.

After more than two decades of creating together — and exhibiting across Tulsa, Santa Fe, and Dallas — FieldTrip Studio is returning to its hometown gallery scene with a three-day show at 1313 Gallery, July 25–27, featuring vibrant paintings and mixed media art.

Opening night will give people the opportunity to meet the artists whose work has been described as everything from “cheeky” to “strangely captivating.” The show offers a feast for the eyes — and plenty of photo and video opportunities for media.
