ESPIRAL7 was born of the rich rhythmic patterns of Colombian Pacific Coast folk music, blending Latin-pop and rock with Afro-Latin jazz. Their music is a constant dialogue with the diverse arts of a rich and varied region. On stage, Espiral7 delivers an explosive and captivating sonic narrative of the city of Cali. With a lineup that includes vocals, tenor sax, trumpet, electric guitar, bass, drums and percussion, the ensemble creates an immersive and vibrant musical experience. Join us before the show for a Q&A with band members and Casa de la Cultura’s Francisco Trevino, and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.

Every Monday at 11:00 a.m., different programming is planned for museum guests.

Don Ryan, one of Tulsa's most popular musicians, opens up our beloved biweekly summer music series.

A dynamic pianist, Ryan excels in classical, inspirational, pop, jazz and ragtime. He has delighted audiences throughout the world, including at the famed Carnegie Hall. He has the unique distinction of receiving both a diploma and special award at the International Frederic Chopin Competition in Warsaw, Poland (1975), as well as having been inducted into the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame (2006).

Join us to discuss “This Great Hemisphere” by Mateo Askaripour in anticipation of his visit to Central Library for One Book, One Tulsa on July 18. Refreshments are provided. Registration is requested.

Monthly Club meetings for Tulsa Rock and Mineral Society promotes interest in collecting rocks, minerals, fossils and artifacts, working with the lapidary arts and sharing knowledge about the earth sciences. We support education by providing programs for schools and adult groups year-round, and provide funds for scholarships in the earth sciences. First meeting is free to attend.
