We Are United! ¡Estamos Unidos!
Tulsa Metropolitan Ministry (TMM) will lead We Are United! ¡Estamos Unidos!—an interfaith prayer vigil—in an expression of solidarity with our immigrant communities. The vigil will take place on Tuesday, May 13 at 7:00 p.m. at All Souls Unitarian Church.
Clergy and faith leaders of many traditions across Tulsa will join voices and hearts with community members to affirm a shared commitment to human dignity and justice.
This is an invitation for people of all beliefs and backgrounds to stand shoulder-to-shoulder in support of our immigrant communities.
Many of Tulsa’s major religious congregations and institutions are sending leaders to participate and show their support. Participating clergy include Baptist, Roman Catholic, Disciple of Christ, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Jewish, Quaker, Mennonite, Muslim, Congregational, Unitarian Universalist, Methodist, Presbyterian, and more.
Clergy are encouraged to wear vestments as a visible symbol of solidarity. Security will be present to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all who attend.
