Experience a once-in-a-lifetime evening of music as Boston Avenue United Methodist Church presents Notre Dame Cathedral Organist Olivier Latry in concert, as part of the Fred Elder Recital Series.
Olivier Latry is widely recognized as one of the greatest concert organists in the world today. At just 23, he was appointed one of the titular organists of the famed Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris, where he continues to serve. In addition to his role in Paris, he is Professor of Organ at the Paris Conservatory, Organist Emeritus of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and Artist in Residence at the University of Kansas. His playing has been praised for its elegance, virtuosity, and “consummate artistry” by critics from The New York Times to The Los Angeles Times.
This will be Latry’s first performance in Tulsa, a rare opportunity to hear the artistry of Notre Dame’s organist on the historic Boston Avenue organ. The program features masterworks by French composers Widor, Franck, Guilmant, and Duruflé, alongside a thrilling Bach transcription. The evening will conclude with an unforgettable improvisation—created spontaneously on a theme presented to him live—showcasing the transcendent tradition of Notre Dame’s organists.
Don’t miss this extraordinary concert: a rare chance to experience one of the world’s greatest organists live in Tulsa. Admission is free and open to the public. Please note this event will not be livestreamed—join us in person for the full power and resonance of this unforgettable performance

Performance dates are Oct.17– Oct. 26, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m. at the Playhouse located at 1800 S. Main Street in Broken Arrow.
Opening in London’s West End in 1952 with only a short break during the covid pandemic, the show continues to entertain audiences to this day. Set in the snowbound Monkswell Manor, a group of strangers, including the owners Mollie and Giles Ralston, find themselves trapped with a murderer among them. As the snow storm isolates them, a police detective arrives on skis to investigate a recent London murder connected to the group. One by one, the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts. Which one is the murderer? Who will be their next victim? Can you solve this world-famous mystery for yourself?
