It is back to the drawing board on West Bank River Development. Mayor Bartlett says with the city rejecting all of the bids for the development of the area just north of 23rd and Jackson, a new proposal is expected soon.

The mayor says the project must be big in scope and well financed. He says the initial proposals were lacking and were turned down.

He says whenever the city does develop the west bank the project “must be a winner”. The mayor tells KWGS, the project can not fail.

He expects new city planning director Dawn Warrick to be very involved in the selection process.
