The evacuation order for the town of Mannford has been lifted. Residents are being allowed to return to their homes. The fire is not out, but with the wind shift and the rain, the town no longer appears in danger.
The fire did not make it into the city limits of Mannford, a Lake Keystone town about 20-minutes west of Tulsa.
The wind shift sent the fire back over ground it at already burned and the rain helped dampen the fires spread. There have been no reports of serious injury.
Fire fighters now believe they have the fire contained.
