3 Arrested in Stabbing of Pizza Delivery Driver

File Photo

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Police in Oklahoma City say they have arrested three people in the stabbing of a 77-year-old pizza delivery driver.

Authorities said Tuesday the arrests followed an investigation in which police concluded the stabbing was planned because the pizza was to be delivered to an unoccupied apartment.

Two of the suspects are juveniles, ages 14 and 15. Police also arrested 18-year-old Marcus Smith.

All three are charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to commit a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony.

The attack occurred late Monday night when the driver, whose name wasn't released, was leaving a southwest Oklahoma City apartment complex after no one answered the door.

The Oklahoma County Jail website didn't have information on whether Smith has an attorney.
