TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A Tulsa fire official says two people have died and three are injured after an apartment fire in south Tulsa.
Capt. Stan May says the two of the five have died from injuries suffered in the fire about 3 p.m. Monday. May said he could not confirm the names or ages of any of the victims.
Ambulance company spokeswoman Kelli Bruer says two children ages 2 and 6 and three adult women were taken to area hospitals following the fire. Bruer said the two children and one of the adults were in serious to critical condition.
May said investigators had not determined a cause of the fire Monday night but were "leaning toward it being accidental."
