TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Police in Tulsa say a man trying to cross U.S. 169 on foot was struck and killed by a vehicle.
Officer Leland Ashley says the man was trying to cross the highway about 6 a.m. Sunday when he was struck by a northbound vehicle in the center lane. Ashley says the driver of the vehicle did nothing wrong and was not ticketed.
The dead man's name has not been released.
