Stillwater police stated in an affidavit that 21-year-old Isaiah Marin was seen by a witness walking down the street holding a large knife. Marin was later charged with killing of 19-year-old Jacob Andrew Crockett. The body of Crockett was found with multiple stab wounds and his head "mostly severed" from his body.
The two young men were said to have had many disagreements due to Marin's "strong Christian beliefs" and Crockett allegedly practiced witchcraft. Crockett was the son of an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper.
