Mayor Dewey Bartlett announced Riverside Drive near the Gathering Place will undergo several changes to ensure the safety of pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and motorists during road reconstruction this year.
The new plan includes additional safety modifications submitted by City staff that will provide for immediate traffic calming and infrastructure options, such as a greatly anticipated sidewalk with a landscaped barrier and other physical changes such as striping, curbing, signage and enhanced pedestrian crosswalks.
