The license of a Tulsa physician is suspended after an investigation found she was prescribing tightly controlled drugs to patients without doing exams.
Investigators say Dr. Tamerlane Rozsa prescribed doses of what patients requested, not what was medically necessary. She was cited for 14 violations. She is accused of gross or repeated negligence in the practice of medicine.
According to the Oklahoma State Medical Board, Rozsa also had prescribed controlled substances to herself. Rozsa is a 1983 graduate of the OU Medical School.
