EUFAULA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a search will continue this week for two boaters who were reported missing on Lake Eufaula.
Twenty-three-year-old James Giles and 41-year-old Sean McDonald were last seen between 11 p.m. and midnight Saturday leaving the Holiday Cove area on the lake in a canoe.
Troopers said a search began shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday after they were alerted that the men were missing.
The patrol used an aircraft to search the area Sunday night, but had to halt the operation because it was too dark. Troopers say the search will continue Monday morning.
