4.1 Quake Hits Near Cushing

 

CUSHING, Okla. (AP) — No injuries or damage have been reported after a trio of earthquakes hit Oklahoma on Friday morning.

The Cushing area was hit by two earthquakes. A 3.5 magnitude quake with an epicenter 1 mile west-northwest of Cushing struck shortly after 4 a.m. Friday, while a 4.1 magnitude earthquake hit at 7:35 a.m. with an epicenter 4 miles west-northwest of Cushing.

The U.S. Geological Survey says both earthquakes were about 2 miles deep.

Another earthquake was recorded at 8:10 a.m. in northern Oklahoma. The USGS says the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.2 with an epicenter about 12 miles west of Perry.
