Voters in the Creek Nation vote for new leadership. In unofficial results, challenger James Floyd picked up 62% of the vote in Saturday balloting. Incumbent Chief George Tiger received 38% of the vote.
Tiger got a 'no vote of confidence' from the tribal council and faced an ouster attempt earlier in the year. The new chief is the former head of the Veterans Medical Center at Muskogee.
