Tulsans say "yes" to the Vision proposals. All measures passed in Tulsa, as well as in Tulsa County and in the suburbs.
Tulsans approved three packages, totaling $884 million, in a sales tax extension. The funding is earmarked for public safety, economic development and streets/transit.
It includes funding to build low water dams in the Arkansas River, hire additional police and fire fighters and a large group of economic development projects. Among the development projects are $65 million for the Gilcrease Museum, $25 million for the Zoo and a new community health clinic in east Tulsa.
