Tulsa International Airport offers two new nonstop routes.
Starting now, travelers can fly on Allegiant directly to Baltimore Washington International.
"It's the first time that we've had service to BWI nonstop, and having low-cost service makes it way more affordable for families," said airport spokeswoman Alexis Higgins.
Next week, Allegiant will launch a direct flight to New Orleans. Both new routes will fly twice a week.
"We like to go to destinations where people like to go and sight see and go on vacation, so we thought that D.C. and New Orleans would be two great, new routes for Tulsa travelers," said Allegiant Manager of Airports Daniel Meier.
When service to the Big Easy begins next week, the budget carrier will be up to six routes.
Meier said the airline will be in a bit of a holding pattern after next week.
"We're going to focus on what we have right now and make it a success, and then hopefully we can look to add in the future," Meier said.
Allegiant started flights out of Tulsa in 2013 with one nonstop route to Orlando Sanford.
