Next week, the Emergency Medical Services Authority board is slated to approve next year’s operating budget. The ambulance service’s Financial Officer is Lora Conger. She says the service’s rate will not increase under the proposed budget. In fact, not increase is planned through FY 2022.
Conger says year-over-year expenses increased only one percent when one-time settlements were removed from expenses. Operations make up 86 % of the proposed budget.
The EMSA Board will meet next Wednesday.
