Remington Tower Sold, Will be Turned into Luxury Apartments

NOAA

Tulsa's Remington Tower has been sold more than two and a half years after it was hit by a tornado.

Colorado-based TAG Multifamily, LLC bought the 19-story building for an undisclosed price and plans to turn it into a luxury apartments development.

"The new luxury apartments will be for lease only," TAG Multifamily, LLC representative Travis Reese said in a statement. "We are working on renderings for public view and should have a website up soon to provide more information. We’re excited to bring this new concept to Tulsa and breathe life back into this beautiful building."

The high rise at 5810 E Skelly Drive has been vacant since an EF-2 tornado hit midtown Tulsa early on Aug. 6, 2017, damaging it.
